New Model For Skoda Range

The new Škoda Roomster, fourth Škoda family model, has made its world premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show (2-12 March 2006). Not only does the Škoda Roomster represent the Škoda brand’s step towards a new market segment, but also a step towards a new development stage.

The new Roomster will be launched this year, with a wide range of engines to include:

1.2 12V/47kW
1.4 16V/63 kW
1.6 16V/77 kW
1.4 TDI PD/59 kW
1.9 TDI PD/77 kW

Series production of the Roomster car started in the Škoda plant at Kvasiny (03-27 March 2006). At least 15,000 Roomster cars will have come down the line by the end of the year 2006 with the plant’s daily output gradually amounting to as many as 190 Roomster car units.
